Time Machine Comics was born from a chance meeting in 2012 at Cooks Flea Market in Winston-Salem. That’s where Jamie (aka Mort), a comic industry veteran, crossed paths with Dave, who was just getting started. Sharing a passion for comics and a vision for something bigger, the two teamed up and took their business online. What followed was nearly a decade of growth, culminating in one of the largest comic sales operations on eBay — a business that was acquired in 2022.

But the story didn’t end there.

After some time apart, Jamie reached out with a simple question: “Want to build something new?” Dave didn’t hesitate — and just like that, Time Machine Comics came to life.

Our mission is simple: treat others the way we want to be treated. Everything we do is rooted in two core values — honesty and integrity. These principles helped us build our first company, and they guide every decision in our new chapter.
